Maid Cafe

My Cup of Tea Maid Cafe is Anime USA’s home-grown maid cafe. We began operations in 2009 and pride ourselves in providing our guests with an experience similar to maid cafes found in Japan. These cafe establishments employ waitresses in uniforms who serve guests with an upbeat attitude while providing a laid back and fun atmosphere for all to enjoy. Common in these cafes is the concept of “moe,” which is lots of cuteness! My Cup of Tea Maid Cafe is no different. Every guest is guaranteed to have a delicious meal paired with fun and games provided by our moe blessed maids. We are a family friendly environment and welcome all who enter our cafe!

My Cup of Tea Maid Cafe provides guests with various opportunities to participate in a more interactive dining experience. We offer tabletop and community games, photo opportunities with friends and maids, adorable dance and musical performances, and chances to participate in various fun and original competitions. Warning! Guests of all ages leave with smiling faces, a full tummy, and an extreme willingness to return! Enter at your own risk!

Do not go through your convention hungry and alone. My Cup of Tea Maid Cafe offers a full restaurant and cafe menu with signature Japanese dishes such as Omuraisu and Onigiri! We invite you to stop by for a great meal, meet new friends and enjoy a friendly and fantastic environment for all. Don’t wish to wait in line? Throughout the year we make several special appearances at various conventions and cultural events. Please be sure to join us during our main event: Anime USA in Washington DC, 1 – 3 November 2019.

If you want to participate in the Maid Cafe experience, you can come see them at the Stone’s Throw Cafe.

Additionally the Maids will be offering their Moe Passes, which will allow you to reserve ahead of time, for the experience. The Moe Pass allows you to “Skip the line” when your pass time comes around. Also, a photo with your Maid comes with the pass!

You can purchase the Moe Pass at the station near the entrance of the restaurant.

Club Ukiyo is sure to meet your expectations. Club Ukiyo allows attendees to experience a unique dining experience that will delight the senses. There are 2 options to the experience, you can join the standard line and request the Host Experience at the hostess station of the Stone’s Throw restaurant.

You can also purchase a “Speed Date” pass that will put you into a priority line for the Host Club Experience.
